HPE Discover London 2015
Discover 2015 held by newly launched Hewlett Packard Enterprise got together hundreds of thrilling sessions, demos and workshops. And Yoctocode was more than happy to roll out Advanced Content Delivery System and Securing ATM demo at this absolutely outstanding event.
Securing ATM with IoT
Key topics of this Discover event were Cloud and IoT. Needless to say that we also couldn’t stay out of these cutting edge technologies. This project appeared to be a challenge for us and we even fried a couple of boards, anyway, the demo was extremely successful.
Speaking of ATMs, the crucial demand made for them is security. In this demo we joined up Cloud and IoT technologies to increase ATMs’ security. In a few words, we took a bunch of sensors for proximity and shakes detection, put a camera for video capturing and streamed all the data to Helion Cloud for further processing. Thus, using IoT and scalable microservices architecture we developed solution which aggregates sensors data, video stream and analytics, evaluates the risk level and finally shows alerts.
Interactive System
Think of giving a presentation at the large event like Discover. First of all, you have to setup and configure a demo in your booth. Nothing you can’t handle, right? Now imagine that you have not one, but fifty demo stations and they are spread across the conference venue. Add to that necessity to make some hotfixes or content updates on the fly. I bet, you won’t enjoy manually copying your Power Point slides on 50 devices.
To overcome this situation, we developed Advanced Content Delivery System, a powerful and flexible framework for managing all your interactive screens and demos from simple Control Panel UI. The framework makes orchestration of content-driven demos easy as pie and allows you to synchronize screens in a variety of ways for the most spectacular effect. Yearning for a real-time statistic on screens usage? Interactive System will aggregate it and compile in a detailed report for you. So, minimum effort for demo owners brings the best experience to event attendees.
